Tiger Maple Light Stand

This is a simple design for the purpose, in the 18th century, of holding a candle on top and work necessities in the drawer. The top is 18" square and 25.5" high.

Lady's Work Table

Based on examples of sewing tables or work tables, this table is made of Mahogany, with drawer fronts veneered with bookmatched Curly Burl Maple. The drawer fronts are finished off with a Federal banding around the perimeter. The sides are back are veneered and inlaid to simulate the front of the table. The top is a solid piece of Crotch Mahogany. The lion's head pulls are typical Federal style hardware.
