Early in 2015, I was commissioned by the Valley Forge National Historic Park to build a gateleg table that the Park could use in its re-creation of a Revolutionary War camp. The table was to be a reproduction of some table that had origins in the Southern coastal region as the war camp was made up of Virginians and Carolinians.
This table, then, is now in that war camp recreation. It is made of Walnut and the base is painted with milk paint.  It stands 27" tall and is 42" round.
