At the Waterford Fair, 2023, I met Kathy who said she wanted a serpentine front chest of drawers. I thought that sounded wonderfully decisive and we spent some time over the next few months finalizing the design and the hardware. She had seen a couple originals at the DeWitt-Wallace Museum at Colonial Williamsburg that helped the process. I acquired a fantastic crotch Mahogany top and some ribbon striped thick lumber for the drawers, making for a stunning, figured appearance.
