This commission was a collaboration between Ian Hart, a blacksmith doing period metalwork, me, and the client who had a certain spot in mind where she wanted a bench. She also knew she wanted some figured Mahogany. We worked out a design and dimensions with the Ian and here is the result. The bench is finished with oil and shellac.
