Fanback Windsor Chair

Period Windsor Chair finished with black milk paint, 38” overall height, 18” seat height, 22” width at crest rail, 15.5” width at seat, 16” deep at seat.

This Fanback Windsor shares elements with several different surviving examples. The seat is Pine, the legs, stretchers, and stiles are Hard Maple, the spindles and crest rail are White Oak. It is finished with traditional black milk paint.
