Queen Anne Side Chairs

Set of two walnut side chairs with bookmatched crotch walnut splats, oil and shellac finish, slip seat, 41” high total; 19” seat height, 18” seat width, 16.5” seat depth

Based on several surviving examples from the Philadelphia area around 1750, these Queen Anne side chairs are made of Walnut with matching, re-sawn crotch Walnut splats. The slip seat can easily be reupholstered in a different fabric. The finish is oil and shellac.
