I was asked to build an executive desk that would fit the style of an office which was soon to be remodeled. The client had in mind a very sturdy desk with a solid appearance. He wanted false drawers on the left for his computer tower and the lower right hand drawer to hold hanging files. The overhang is supported by brackets which give the desk a restrained element of decoration. The knothole was purposely placed to accomodate a monitor cord.
