At my show in Morristown, I met Mr. and Mrs. Vandame, who commissioned three Shaker nightstands, one in Tiger Maple and two in Walnut. In order to match their existing nightstand of Tiger Maple, they brought that table to the show for me to take measurements. They also wanted two Walnut tables, of a slightly taller dimension, for another room. Mr. Vandame had some very fine, wide Walnut boards that he wanted me to use for those tables and I was happy to oblige him. This is one of the tables built for them. The Tiger Maple table is finished with aniline dyes, linseed oil, and shellac.
