This mirror frame was designed as a companion piece to the Pomegranate Table to fit a certain space in a client's hall. The oval is made of four pieces that are joined with mortise and tenon joints. The frame is carved with the pomegranate motif of the table but includes squash blossoms and foliage. These two motifs appear together in Native American art, which the client was aware of and appreciated. The outside of the frame also has the inlaid banding that the table has.
