Upon purchasing a new home on the Northeast side of Indianapolis, the Branamans began remodeling. They opened up the galley kitchen to the dining room and installed, in the kitchen, maple cabinetry and, in the dining room, a striped banquet for seating.  Now, they were looking for a dining table to harmonize the kitchen and dining room.

I met with them and discussed several options for species of wood, design, finish, and size. After an hour, they had decided on modern version of the classic trestle table design made out of Tiger Maple that measured 60"x54".  The color of the table would compliment the cabinetry and the figure of the wood would compliment the banquet, which you can see in the photograph. The size would fit their family perfectly.

After beginning construction, I made several sample finishes for them to choose from and sent photos of the piece in progress.  A few weeks later, the Branaman Table was complete and in their home.
